About Musify

Musify was born out of frustration — frustration with clunky interfaces, endless ads, and music apps that just didn't do what I needed. I'm Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Tayeb, also known online as AmtCode, and I built Musify entirely on my own, feature by feature, screen by screen. This is my first mobile app, and every part of it is the result of solving real problems I personally faced.

Why I Built It

I wanted a music player that gave me full control. Downloading songs and videos shouldn't require dodging sketchy websites or sitting through long ads — Musify makes it as easy as a tap. You choose your format and resolution, and the app handles the rest.

But it wasn't just about downloads. I also wanted an app that made daily listening effortless. Switching playlists while driving shouldn't be a hassle. Skipping to your favorite part of a song shouldn't mean dragging the seek bar every time. So I designed Musify with smart navigation, custom clip points, and even the ability to trim out boring intros or awkward endings.

Built Around Real-Life Needs

One embarrassing problem I faced was when I thought my headphones were connected — but they weren't — and music blasted out loud in public. With Musify, the app instantly shows which output is active, so you can play confidently.

I also made sure to include performance options, like the ability to hide album thumbnails to save memory, or automatically organize and analyze your entire library to help you find music that fits your vibe.

Visual Experience

Music isn't just audio — it's an experience. That's why Musify includes a real-time audio visualizer that dances to your music, with a dynamic background that reacts to every beat. It gives your songs new life (and yes, you can turn it off if you prefer a cleaner look).

Musify is more than just a music app — it's a personal project built from scratch with passion. Every screen, every interaction, and every animation was created with care. I'm excited for what's already in the app, but even more excited about what's coming next.
